FRAME
It is realized from a single cast without gasket, whose stability is guaranteed through a metal to metal coupling. The outside edge is realized in the shape of a channel, in order to obtain a system of hydraulic hold if it gets filled up with sand, tar or other materials. Externally the structure is high to optimise its hold in the cement and the insertion of the anchoring bolts.
COVER
It is square in shape, it guarantees a good stability, thanks to the height of the insertion depth not less than 50 mm, it comes with 2 dead holes, which allow the insertion of suitable handles to lift the cover (supplied on request). All the covers are interchangeable. The upper surface is designed to be non-skid to allow the complete flow of water and avoid the creation of ice.
INTENDED USE
It is designed to be used in areas subjected to high loads, airport runways or port areas or very high volume roads (see norm EN 124 group 5).
TREATMENT
The manhole cover has a protective coating of black paint.

Frame
It is obtained from a single cast, its stability is guaranteed through a double throat supporting area, creating a metal to metal coupling thanks to the interposition of an EPDM gasket, this is studied to obtain a watertight/waterproof sealing. Inside there is also a special provision to host, if necessary, the glass reinforced plate (GRP).
Cover
It is square in shape, it ensures a high stability due to a depth of insertion over 50 mm, the EPDM gasket inserted in the throat, which is located in the supporting area, and the locking system with stainless steel screws. The opening process is obtained through the insertion of specific handles in the blind holes of the surface. All the covers are interchangeable. The top surface is antiskid and it allows the complete flow of water.
